My family and I had an amazing weekend stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Fort Walton Beach. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a professional and welcoming staff who delivered exceptional service throughout our visit.
A special thank you to the front desk supervisor, Kerry, who was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a thorough and helpful orientation during check-in. Her recommendations for local restaurants and off-property activities were spot-on and truly made our weekend exciting and memorable.
We were especially impressed by the cleanliness of the property, the friendliness of the staff, and the stunning views. The pool amenities were a highlight for our family, offering both relaxation and fun. Each morning, the kitchen staff made breakfast a delightful experience with their cheerful attitudes and attentive service.
I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a getaway that feels like an out-of-country experience without leaving the United States. We will definitely be returning!

This vacation was one of the best ever. We had an amazing beach front view. The beach access was perfect! I really enjoyed spending time at the bar. Hospitality was top tier especially from Kerry Smiley. She went out her way to check on my family during our trip and maintained such professionalism. Definitely coming back.

Traveling with kids especially an infant can be difficult. Thanks to Kerry that was not the case for my family this trip. Her communication skills and attention to detail were amazing. She was even able to get a crib sent to our room to help with my infant’s sleeping. LIFE SAVER! Definitely would recommended this hotel to everyone. Very family friendly.

3rd time staying here. Stayed for a week, room service was great everyday and staff was all pleasant and helpful. Food at Riptides was good for the on site restaurant. Joe the bartender is great and makes tasty classic cocktails or tasty beach cocktails and was always more than helpful. Look forward to next visit.

It was great, more than great it was perfect, the workers were very nice and friendly, the rooms were so clean and nice, I loved how they had bunk beds for the little kids and a small tv, and the location was perfect I stayed there all day and the hot tub so good and the pool was so fun and there was a lady that came and made bubbles for the kids and we were next to the beach and it was so good for late night walks!

When I tell you The Best!
We initially started at the Island Resort walked in and did an about face right out the door! We called the holiday inn beach resort and got in right away!
The staff was amazing! The facility was clean! The food was delicious! And Nikki what a blessing- she made us feel at home! We will be back in May!
